JONATHAN LADDY, CPA
MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Jonathan's background includes 25+ years of significant consulting, accounting, and tax services. It also includes executive experience in CFO and Controller capacities in large companies as well as start-up environments.
Jonathan is a Bay Area native and graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BS in Business in Administration with an accounting emphasis. He is a CPA and is a member of the AICPA and California Society of CPA's. He lives for his wife, Cindy, son, daughter, and two dogs.
Cindy Laddy, CPA
Principal
Cindy has over 25 years of public accounting experience, the majority of which was spent with Frank, Rimerman + Co., and Abbott, Stringham & Lynch. Cindy’s focus has been on providing tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and related trusts and small businesses. Her strengths are in building close client relationships, understanding her client’s needs, and providing timely responses and work to her clients.
Cindy is a Bay Area native and a graduate from UCLA with a BA in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. She is a CPA and member of the AICPA and California Society of CPA's. Outside of the office, she loves traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family, and two dogs.
Tom Kahle
Principal
Tom has over 20 years of accounting experience. He began his career at Frank, Rimerman & Co, working on Audits of companies throughout the Bay Area. He then moved to the industry and has lead accounting functions in growing and dynamic companies. He has held Controller and SVP of Finance roles. He has a very strong background in day-to-day operations, as well as being able to see companies through very complex transactions and situations. This experience is perfect for our client base.
Tom is a Bay Area native, Graduating from the University of San Francisco with a BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Tom still lives in San Francisco with his wife Kaity and their son and daughter.
Rebecca Scott, CPA
Principal
Rebecca has over 20 years of public accounting experience. Her broad experience includes tax planning and consulting as well as a solid foundation in business bookkeeping procedures and requirements. She has continuously expanded her technical tax knowledge focusing on the issues that her business and individual tax clients have.
Rebecca graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In 2009, Rebecca received her Master's degree in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, relocated to California, and became a licensed CPA. She provides consulting and taxation services to business and individual clients. Rebecca is also a member of the AICPA. When Rebecca is not at the office, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and scrapbooking.
Kim Frey, CPA
Principle
Kim’s background includes 40+ years of public accounting experience in the Bay Area with significant auditing, consulting, accounting, and tax services. It also includes extensive estate and trust administration and mergers & acquisitions of closely held companies.
Kim is a licensed CPA with a Master’s degree in accounting & member of CalCPA. When he is out of the office he enjoys chasing his grandchildren, cooking, photography, hiking, fishing, golfing and spending time with his bride of over 35 years.
Nicole Peacock, EA
Tax Manager
Nicole has been in the tax industry for over 15 years. She specializes in tax planning, consulting, and preparation for high net worth individuals and businesses.
Nicole graduated from San Jose State University with a BS degree in Business Administration with Accounting Concentration. After college, she obtained her Enrolled Agent credentials.
Nicole likes to spend time with her friends and family, exercise, travel, and spend time outdoors when outside the office.
Susan Rodriguez , CPA
Tax Manager
Susan has been a CPA in the Bay Area for over 20 years, focusing on the needs of high net-worth individuals. Her other specialties included partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estate tax. She graduated from San Jose State with a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is an active member of the AICPA and CalCPA.
When she is away from the office, she enjoys exercising, trying new recipes, wine tasting and traveling.
Elaine Cardiel, CPA
Tax Manager
Elaine has been in public accounting for over 15 years. Her experience includes tax planning and consulting for high net worth individuals, business owners, and their businesses.
Elaine graduated from San Jose State University with a Master's degree in Taxation and a BS in Business with an accounting emphasis. She also has a BA degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno. Elaine is a licensed CPA, a member of the AICPA and CalCPA, and a former board member and committee chair for the CalCPA.
When Elaine is out of the office, she travels extensively, volunteers for local pet rescue studies in ancient archaeology, and enjoys spending time with her husband.
